Shibao Wang

 

Shibao Wang obtained his B.Sc. in agronomy in 1985 and his M.Sc. in soybean genetics and breeding in 1988 from Shanxi Agricultural University in P. R. China. He has worked at Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences since 1988 as a researcher in research and utilization of main legume germplasm resources, exploring physiological limitations to yield, adaptation and breeding of legume. From 1997 to 1998 he studied at Lincoln University, New Zealand for one year as a Visiting scholar. He is now a visiting scientist working at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Horticulture Research and Development Center, Fruit Breeding and Physiology Laboratory Research team under the supervision of S. Khanizadeh in Quebec, Canada. He presently evaluating advanced raspberry selections and making new crosses based on the information provided by the team leader.
