Origin: introduced in 1966 by the New York Agricultural Experiment Station, Geneva. Italian Prune x Hall. P. domestica.
European type plum. Fruit: attractive, round; skin: blue; flesh: greenish-yellow, firm; stone: free; flavor: fair, subacid; quality:
fair for fresh eating, good for cooking; ripening season: about one week before Stanley. Tree: hardy in Vineland (Ontario),
very small (7 feet tall) in La Pocatiere, upright-spreading; yield: productive. Other: self-fruitful, fruit can split when the tree
first comes into bearing, tested as N.Y. 797.

verdâtre, ferme; noyau : libre; saveur : passable, sub-acide; qualité : passable pour la consommation en frais, bonne pour la
cuisson; époque de maturité : environ une semaine avant la Stanley. Prunier : rustique à Vineland (Ontario), très petit (7 pieds
de hauteur) à La Pocatière, dressé-étalé; rendement : élevé. Autres caractéristiques : autocompatible, fruit tendant à se fendre
lorsque l’arbre produit pour la première fois, mis à l’essai sous la dénomination N.Y. 797.
