American type plum. Fruit: large to very large, heart-shape; skin: very dark red; flesh: soluble solids are 14.3 % at maturity;
ripening season: mid-September in La Pocatiere. Tree: not hardy in La Pocatiere, starts bearing 5 years after planting; yield:
very low in La Pocatiere likely because of winter kill (3.0 to 3.5 kg/tree after 9 years); flowering: in La Pocatiere, starts May
19 (range May 15-23) and lasts 24-26 days, full bloom is May 25 (range May 23-27). Other: has some resistance to shot-hole
leaf spot.
Prunier de type américain. Fruit : gros à très gros, cordiforme; peau : rouge très foncé; chair : renfermant 14,3 % de solides
solubles à maturité; époque de maturité : mi-septembre à La Pocatière. Prunier : non rustique à La Pocatière, commençant à
produire 5 ans après la plantation; rendement : très faible à La Pocatière sans doute à cause de la dessiccation hivernale
(environ 3,0 à 3,5 kg/arbre après 9 ans); floraison : à La Pocatière débute le 19 mai (15-23 mai) et dure 24 à 26 jours avec
floraison maximale le 25 mai (23-27 mai). Autres caractéristiques : la variété affiche une certaine résistance à la criblure.
