Origin: introduced in 1967 by G.H. Dickson, G.W. Eaton, C.D. Whitty, and G. Tehrani of the Horticultural Research Institute
of Ontario, Vineland. Pacific x Albion. P. domestica. European type plum. Fruit: large, 32 x 45 mm, ovate; suture: moderate;
skin: blue; flesh: yellow, soluble solids are 17.1 % at maturity; stone: free; quality: good for eating fresh; ripening season:
September 21 in La Pocatiere. Tree: not hardy in La Pocatiere, not very hardy in Frelighsburg with a 1 on 3 rating for survival
after the very harsh winter of 1989-90, very vigorous, spreading; yield: reported to be productive but few fruits were
produced in La Pocatiere due to hardiness problems; flowering: starts May 22 (range May 20-24) and lasts 11-16 days, full
bloom is May 26 (range May 24-28) in La Pocatiere. Other: tested as V-37011, very susceptible to shot-hole leaf spot, self-
unfruitful, prune type fruit.

suture : modérément marquée; peau : bleue; chair : jaune, renfermant 17,1 % de solides solubles à maturité; noyau : libre;
qualité : bonne pour la consommation en frais; époque de maturité : le 21 septembre à La Pocatière. Prunier : non rustique à
La Pocatière, pas très rustique à Frelighsburg (taux de survie de 1 sur 3 après le très dur hiver de 1989-1990), très vigoureux,
étalé; rendement : on signale un rendement élevé, mais peu de fruits ont été obtenus à La Pocatière à cause de problèmes de
rusticité; floraison : débute le 22 mai (20-24 mai) et dure 11 à 16 jours avec floraison maximale le 26
mai (24-28 mai) à La Pocatière. Autres caractéristiques : mis à l’essai sous la dénomination
V-37011, très sensible à la criblure, autoincompatible, prunier à pruneaux.
