americana). Hybrid type plum. Fruit skin: thin, tender, crimson, with a heavy bloom; flesh: yellow, meaty, moderately juicy;
stone: free; flavor: sweet to mild, subacid, pleasant; quality: good for canning and for cooking; ripening season: August 25 in
Ottawa. Tree: hardy in Ottawa, annual bearer, starts bearing at 6 years; yield: average and maximum in Ottawa were 12.5
kg/tree and 27.9 kg/tree, respectively; flowering: starts May 12 (range May 10-14) and lasts 8-9 days with full bloom on May
15 (range May 13-17) in Ottawa. Other: tested as Minn. 17.

(range May 10-16) and lasts 8 days with full bloom on May 17 (range May 13-20) in Ottawa. Other: tested as Minn. 101.
